ہر روز ہم نماز میں ایک ہی دعا دہراتے ہیں: "اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ" — "اے اللہ! ہمیں سیدھا راستہ دکھا۔"
کیا ہم نے کبھی خود سے یہ سوال کیا کہ ہم ہر نماز میں یہی دعا کیوں مانگتے ہیں؟
اس لیے کہ انسان کو زندگی کے ہر موڑ پر ہدایت کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔
ہدایت صرف راستہ دکھانے کا نام نہیں، بلکہ اس راستے پر ثابت قدم رہنے کی توفیق کا نام بھی ہے۔
Every day, we repeat the same prayer in our Salah: "Ihdinas Siraatal Mustaqeem" — "O Allah, guide us to the Straight Path."
Have we ever paused to ask ourselves — why do we make this exact same supplication in every single prayer?
Because a human being needs guidance at every turn of life.
Guidance is not merely about being shown the right path. It is also about being given the strength and steadfastness to stay on it.
اللہ تعالیٰ نے قرآنِ مجید کو انسانوں کے لیے ہدایت قرار دیا۔ یہ وہ نور ہے جو بھٹکے ہوئے دلوں کو راستہ دکھاتا ہے، پریشان ذہنوں کو سکون دیتا ہے، اور مایوس انسانوں کے اندر امید کی ایک نئی کرن جگا دیتا ہے۔
جب انسان اللہ کے کلام کو سمجھنے کی کوشش کرتا ہے، اس پر غور کرتا ہے، اور اپنی زندگی کو اس کے مطابق ڈھالتا ہے، تو اس کے دل میں ہدایت کا نور اترنے لگتا ہے۔
پھر زندگی کے فیصلے آسان ہونے لگتے ہیں، کیونکہ دل دنیا کی آوازوں سے زیادہ اپنے رب کی رہنمائی سننے لگتا ہے۔
Allah has declared the Holy Quran to be a source of guidance for all of humanity. It is a light that shows lost hearts the way, brings peace to troubled minds, and awakens a new ray of hope within those who have fallen into despair.
When a person strives to understand Allah's words, reflects on them deeply, and begins to align their life accordingly — the light of divine guidance begins to descend into their heart.
Then the decisions of life become easier, because the heart begins to listen to the guidance of its Lord more than the noise of the world.
ہدایت کا مطلب یہ نہیں کہ انسان کبھی غلطی نہیں کرے گا، بلکہ یہ ہے کہ جب بھی وہ بھٹکے گا، اللہ اسے واپس اپنی طرف آنے کا راستہ دکھا دے گا۔
اللہ کا نور دل میں اتر جائے تو اندھیرے ہمیشہ کے لیے ختم نہیں ہوتے، لیکن انسان ان اندھیروں سے ڈرنا چھوڑ دیتا ہے، کیونکہ اسے یقین ہوتا ہے کہ اس کا رب اس کے ساتھ ہے۔
Guidance does not mean a person will never go astray. Rather, it means that whenever they do wander, Allah will show them the way back to Him.
When Allah's Noor enters the heart, the darkness does not disappear completely — but the person stops fearing it, because they carry the certainty that their Lord is with them.
کیونکہ جسے ہدایت مل جائے، اسے صحیح راستہ مل جاتا ہے۔
اور جسے صحیح راستہ مل جائے، اس کے دل میں امید کبھی ختم نہیں ہوتی۔
Because the one who is given guidance is given the right path.
And the one who walks the right path — hope never leaves their heart.
اللہ تعالیٰ ہم سب کو ہدایت کی دولت عطا فرمائے، اور ہمارے دلوں کو اپنے نور سے روشن رکھے۔ آمین۔
May Allah grant us all the gift of guidance and keep our hearts illuminated with His Noor. Ameen.
