توکل — اللہ تعالیٰ پر کامل بھروسہ
زندگی ایک امتحان ہے، اور اس امتحان میں ہر انسان کسی نہ کسی آزمائش، پریشانی یا مشکل سے ضرور گزرتا ہے۔ کبھی رزق کی فکر، کبھی بیماری، کبھی ناکامی، کبھی رشتوں کے مسائل، اور کبھی مستقبل کی بے یقینی انسان کے دل کو گھیر لیتی ہے۔ ایسے میں انسان کسی مضبوط سہارے کی تلاش کرتا ہے، مگر ایک مومن کا حقیقی سہارا صرف اور صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کی ذات ہوتی ہے۔ یہی اعتماد، یہی یقین اور یہی مکمل بھروسہ توکل کہلاتا ہے۔
توکل اسلام کی ان عظیم صفات میں سے ایک ہے جو انسان کے دل کو سکون، زندگی کو اطمینان اور ایمان کو مضبوطی عطا کرتی ہے۔ افسوس کہ آج بہت سے لوگ توکل کا مفہوم صحیح طرح نہیں سمجھتے۔ بعض لوگ یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ توکل کا مطلب ہاتھ پر ہاتھ رکھ کر بیٹھ جانا اور ہر کام اللہ تعالیٰ پر چھوڑ دینا ہے، جبکہ حقیقت اس کے برعکس ہے۔
توکل کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ انسان اپنی پوری کوشش کرے، تمام جائز اسباب اختیار کرے، اور پھر نتیجہ مکمل طور پر اللہ تعالیٰ کے سپرد کر دے۔ یہی وہ ایمان ہے جو بندے کو ہر حال میں مضبوط رکھتا ہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ قرآن مجید میں ارشاد فرماتے ہیں:
﴿وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوا إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ﴾
"اور اگر تم مومن ہو تو اللہ ہی پر بھروسہ کرو۔" (سورۃ المائدہ: 23)
یہ آیت واضح کرتی ہے کہ توکل صرف ایک اچھی عادت نہیں بلکہ کامل ایمان کی علامت ہے۔ جس قدر بندے کا اللہ تعالیٰ پر یقین مضبوط ہوتا ہے، اسی قدر اس کا توکل بھی مضبوط ہوتا جاتا ہے۔
توکل صرف زبان کا دعویٰ نہیں
اکثر لوگ زبان سے کہتے ہیں کہ "ہمیں اللہ پر بھروسہ ہے"، لیکن جب مشکلات آتی ہیں تو وہ خوف، بے چینی اور مایوسی کا شکار ہو جاتے ہیں۔ اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ حقیقی توکل صرف الفاظ کا نام نہیں بلکہ دل کے یقین کا نام ہے۔
جس انسان کے دل میں یہ یقین ہو کہ میرا رب میرے ہر حال سے باخبر ہے، وہ کبھی تنہا محسوس نہیں کرتا۔ اسے یقین ہوتا ہے کہ اگر پوری دنیا اس کا ساتھ چھوڑ دے تب بھی اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے ساتھ ہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں:
﴿وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ﴾
"اور جو اللہ پر بھروسہ کرے، تو اللہ اس کے لیے کافی ہے۔" (سورۃ الطلاق: 3)
اس آیت میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے کسی اور سہارے کا ذکر نہیں کیا بلکہ فرمایا کہ جو شخص مجھ پر بھروسہ کرے، میں اس کے لیے کافی ہوں۔ ایک مومن کے لیے اس سے بڑی خوشخبری اور کیا ہو سکتی ہے؟
کیا توکل کا مطلب اسباب چھوڑ دینا ہے؟
یہ ایک بہت بڑی غلط فہمی ہے کہ توکل کا مطلب کوشش نہ کرنا ہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس دنیا کو اسباب کے نظام پر قائم کیا ہے۔ اگر انسان بیمار ہو تو دوا کرے، اگر علم حاصل کرنا چاہے تو محنت کرے، اگر رزق چاہے تو حلال روزگار کی کوشش کرے، اگر امتحان میں کامیابی چاہے تو پوری تیاری کرے۔ یہ سب توکل کے خلاف نہیں بلکہ توکل کا حصہ ہیں۔
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک شخص کو نصیحت کرتے ہوئے فرمایا:
"پہلے اپنی اونٹنی کو باندھو، پھر اللہ پر بھروسہ کرو۔" (جامع ترمذی)
یہ حدیث توکل کا مکمل مفہوم بیان کر دیتی ہے۔ یعنی پہلے اپنی ذمہ داری پوری کرو، پھر نتیجہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سپرد کر دو۔
دنیا اسباب سے چلتی ہے، مگر نتیجہ اللہ کے ہاتھ میں ہے
انسان اپنی پوری زندگی منصوبے بناتا ہے، محنت کرتا ہے، تعلیم حاصل کرتا ہے، کاروبار کرتا ہے اور بے شمار اسباب اختیار کرتا ہے، لیکن ان تمام اسباب کے باوجود کامیابی صرف اسی وقت ملتی ہے جب اللہ تعالیٰ چاہے۔
کتنے ہی لوگ کم وسائل کے باوجود کامیاب ہو جاتے ہیں، اور کتنے ہی لوگ ہر سہولت ہونے کے باوجود ناکام رہتے ہیں۔ اس کی وجہ یہی ہے کہ اسباب انسان اختیار کرتا ہے، مگر ان اسباب میں اثر پیدا کرنا صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کے اختیار میں ہے۔
اسی لیے ایک مومن محنت بھی کرتا ہے اور دعا بھی کرتا ہے، تدبیر بھی اختیار کرتا ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ پر کامل اعتماد بھی رکھتا ہے۔
Tawakkul — Complete trust in Allah
Life is a test, and in this test every human being must go through some kind of trial, trouble or difficulty. Sometimes the worry of sustenance, sometimes illness, sometimes failure, sometimes relationship problems, and sometimes the uncertainty of the future surrounds the heart of a person. In such a situation, a person looks for a strong support, but the true support of a believer is only Allah. This trust, this belief and this complete trust is called trust.
Trust is one of the great attributes of Islam that gives peace to the heart of man, satisfaction to life and strength to faith. Unfortunately, many people today do not properly understand the meaning of trust. Some people think that Tawakkul means sitting on your hands and leaving everything to Allah Ta'ala, while the reality is the opposite.
Tawakkul means that a person should do his best, adopt all legitimate means, and then leave the result entirely to Allah. This is the faith that keeps the servant strong in all situations.
Allah Ta'ala says in the Qur'an:
) And on Allah, so trust, if you are believers.)
"And if you are believers, put your trust in Allah." (Surah al-Maidah: 23)
This verse makes it clear that trust is not just a good habit but a sign of perfect faith. The stronger the servant's faith in Allah, the stronger his trust.
Trust is not just a claim of language
Most people say with their tongues, "We trust in Allah", but when difficulties come, they become fearful, anxious and hopeless. This is because true trust is not just a name of words, but a name of conviction of the heart.
A person who has faith in his heart that my Lord is aware of my every situation, he never feels alone. He believes that even if the whole world abandons him, Allah is with him.
Allah says:
) And whoever trusts in Allah, then he is in His charge.
"And whoever trusts in Allah, then Allah is sufficient for him." (Surat al-Talaq: 3)
In this verse, Allah Almighty did not mention any other support but said that whoever trusts in Me, I am sufficient for him. What could be a greater good news for a believer?
Does trust mean giving up means?
It is a huge misconception that trust means not trying.
Allah Almighty has established this world on the system of causes. If a person is sick, he should take medicine, if he wants to gain knowledge, he should work hard, if he wants sustenance, he should try lawful employment, if he wants to succeed in the exam, he should prepare fully. All these are not against trust but part of trust.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) advised a person and said:
"Tie your camel first, then put your trust in Allah." (Comprehensive Tirmidhi)
This hadith explains the complete meaning of trust. That is, fulfill your responsibility first, then leave the result to Allah Ta'ala.
The world is driven by causes, but the result is in the hands of Allah
A person spends his whole life planning, working hard, studying, doing business and adopting countless means, but despite all these means, success comes only when Allah Almighty wills.
How many people succeed despite having few resources, and how many fail despite having every facility. The reason for this is that man chooses the means, but creating an effect in these means is only in the power of Allah.
That's why a believer works hard and prays, takes planning and has complete trust in Allah Almighty.
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
توکل — اللہ تعالیٰ پر کامل بھروسہ
حصہ دوم
اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کائنات کا نظام اسباب کے ساتھ قائم فرمایا ہے، لیکن اسباب پر بھروسہ کرنے کا حکم نہیں دیا، بلکہ اسباب پیدا کرنے والے رب پر بھروسہ کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے۔ ایک مومن اس حقیقت کو اچھی طرح جانتا ہے کہ دنیا کی ہر طاقت، ہر وسیلہ اور ہر سبب اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم کے تابع ہے۔ اگر وہ چاہے تو معمولی وسائل میں بھی بڑی کامیابی عطا کر دے، اور اگر اس کی حکمت کچھ اور ہو تو بڑے سے بڑے وسائل بھی انسان کو فائدہ نہیں دے سکتے۔
اسی لیے اسلام ہمیں یہ تعلیم دیتا ہے کہ کوشش میں کوئی کمی نہ چھوڑو، مگر دل کا سہارا صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کو بناؤ۔
اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں:
﴿فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ﴾
"پھر جب آپ پختہ ارادہ کر لیں تو اللہ پر بھروسہ کریں، بے شک اللہ توکل کرنے والوں سے محبت کرتا ہے۔" (سورۃ آل عمران: 159)
یہ آیت ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ پہلے تدبیر، مشورہ اور کوشش کی جائے، پھر پورے یقین کے ساتھ اللہ تعالیٰ پر توکل کیا جائے۔ یہی ایک مومن کا راستہ ہے۔
روزمرہ زندگی میں توکل
توکل صرف عبادت تک محدود نہیں بلکہ زندگی کے ہر شعبے میں نظر آنا چاہیے۔
اگر ایک طالب علم امتحان کی تیاری کر رہا ہے تو وہ پوری محنت کرے، اپنی پڑھائی مکمل کرے، وقت کی قدر کرے، پھر امتحان کے بعد نتیجہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سپرد کر دے۔ اگر کامیابی مل جائے تو اللہ کا شکر ادا کرے، اور اگر ناکامی ہو تو مایوس ہونے کے بجائے دوبارہ کوشش کرے، کیونکہ اسے یقین ہے کہ اس کے رب کا ہر فیصلہ حکمت سے بھرپور ہے۔
اسی طرح اگر کوئی شخص کاروبار کرتا ہے تو اسے دیانت داری، محنت اور حلال ذرائع اختیار کرنے چاہییں۔ رزق کی تلاش کرنا بھی عبادت ہے، لیکن رزق صرف محنت سے نہیں بلکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم سے ملتا ہے۔ اس لیے ایک مسلمان تجارت بھی کرتا ہے، منصوبہ بندی بھی کرتا ہے، دعا بھی کرتا ہے اور دل سے یہ یقین بھی رکھتا ہے کہ میرا رازق صرف اللہ ہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں:
﴿وَمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا﴾
"زمین پر چلنے والا کوئی جاندار ایسا نہیں جس کا رزق اللہ کے ذمہ نہ ہو۔" (سورۃ ہود: 6)
یہ آیت انسان کے دل سے رزق کا خوف ختم کر دیتی ہے اور اسے اللہ تعالیٰ کی رحمت پر یقین عطا کرتی ہے۔
حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کا بے مثال توکل
قرآن مجید میں حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کا واقعہ توکل کی ایک عظیم مثال ہے۔
جب حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام بنی اسرائیل کو لے کر نکلے تو سامنے سمندر تھا اور پیچھے فرعون کا عظیم لشکر۔ ظاہری حالات یہی بتا رہے تھے کہ اب بچنے کا کوئی راستہ باقی نہیں۔
بنی اسرائیل گھبرا گئے اور کہنے لگے:
"ہم تو پکڑے جائیں گے۔"
لیکن حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کا ایمان حالات سے نہیں بلکہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے وابستہ تھا۔ انہوں نے فرمایا:
﴿كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ﴾
"ہرگز نہیں! بے شک میرا رب میرے ساتھ ہے، وہ ضرور میری رہنمائی فرمائے گا۔" (سورۃ الشعراء: 62)
یہ الفاظ صرف زبان سے نہیں نکلے تھے بلکہ کامل توکل کا اظہار تھے۔ پھر اللہ تعالیٰ نے سمندر کو راستہ بنا دیا، حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام اور ان کے ساتھی محفوظ گزر گئے، جبکہ فرعون اپنے لشکر سمیت غرق ہو گیا۔
یہ واقعہ ہمیں سکھاتا ہے کہ جب تمام ظاہری راستے بند ہو جائیں تب بھی اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے راستے پیدا کرنا مشکل نہیں۔
حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کا ایمان
حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی زندگی بھی توکل کا روشن باب ہے۔
جب انہیں آگ میں ڈالا گیا تو ہر طرف سے امید ختم ہو چکی تھی، مگر ان کا دل صرف اللہ تعالیٰ پر مطمئن تھا۔ روایت میں آتا ہے کہ انہوں نے فرمایا:
"حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ"
"میرے لیے اللہ ہی کافی ہے، اور وہ بہترین کارساز ہے۔"
اللہ تعالیٰ نے آگ کو حکم دیا:
﴿يَا نَارُ كُونِي بَرْدًا وَسَلَامًا عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ﴾
"اے آگ! ابراہیم پر ٹھنڈی اور سلامتی والی ہو جا۔" (سورۃ الأنبیاء: 69)
یہی توکل کی طاقت ہے۔ جب بندہ اپنے رب پر مکمل بھروسہ کر لیتا ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ وہاں سے مدد فرماتا ہے جہاں سے انسان تصور بھی نہیں کر سکتا۔
"حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل"
یہ صرف ایک جملہ نہیں بلکہ ایک مومن کے دل کی آواز ہے۔
جب انسان ہر طرف سے مایوس ہو جائے، جب وسائل کم ہوں، جب لوگ ساتھ چھوڑ دیں، جب مستقبل دھندلا نظر آئے، تب اگر اس کے دل سے یہ الفاظ نکلیں:
"حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل"
تو گویا وہ اعلان کر رہا ہوتا ہے کہ میرا سہارا صرف اللہ تعالیٰ ہے، وہی میرے لیے کافی ہے، اور وہی بہترین کارساز ہے۔
اسی یقین کے ساتھ زندگی گزارنے والا انسان حالات سے نہیں ٹوٹتا، کیونکہ اس کی امید لوگوں سے نہیں بلکہ اپنے رب سے وابستہ ہوتی ہے۔
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Tawakkul — Complete Trust in Allah
Part Two
Allah Almighty has established the order of this universe through causes and means, yet He has never commanded us to place our trust in those means. Rather, He has commanded us to place our trust in the Lord who created them. A believer understands that every power, every resource, and every means in this world is subject to the command of Allah. If He wills, He can grant immense success through the humblest of means; and if His wisdom decrees otherwise, even the greatest resources can bring no benefit.
For this reason, Islam teaches us to leave no effort undone while placing the heart's complete reliance upon Allah alone.
Allah Almighty says in the Qur'an:
«"Then, when you have made a firm decision, put your trust in Allah. Surely, Allah loves those who place their trust in Him."
(Quran, Surah Aal 'Imran 3:159)»
This verse teaches us that careful planning, consultation, and sincere effort should come first, and afterward we should entrust the outcome to Allah with complete confidence. This is the path of a true believer.
Tawakkul in Everyday Life
Tawakkul is not confined to acts of worship; it should be reflected in every aspect of life.
If a student is preparing for an examination, they should study diligently, make the best use of their time, and complete their preparation. Once the examination is over, they should leave the result to Allah. If success comes, they should thank Him. If they do not succeed, they should not fall into despair but strive again, knowing that every decree of their Lord is filled with perfect wisdom.
Likewise, a person engaged in business should conduct their affairs with honesty, hard work, and lawful means. Seeking one's livelihood is itself an act of worship, yet provision comes not merely through effort but by the command of Allah. Therefore, a Muslim works diligently, plans wisely, prays sincerely, and firmly believes in their heart that Allah alone is the Provider.
Allah Almighty says:
«"There is no living creature upon the earth except that its provision rests with Allah."
(Quran, Surah Hud 11:6)»
This verse removes the fear of provision from the believer's heart and fills it with confidence in Allah's mercy.
The Remarkable Tawakkul of Prophet Musa (Moses)
The Qur'an presents the story of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) as one of the greatest examples of Tawakkul.
When Prophet Musa led the Children of Israel out of Egypt, they found the sea before them and Pharaoh's mighty army advancing behind them. By all outward appearances, there seemed to be no escape.
The Children of Israel became frightened and cried out, "We are surely going to be overtaken."
But Prophet Musa's faith was not dependent on circumstances—it was anchored in Allah. He replied:
«"Never! Indeed, my Lord is with me; He will surely guide me."
(Quran, Surah Ash-Shu'ara 26:62)»
These were not merely words spoken by the tongue; they were the expression of complete trust in Allah. Then Allah commanded the sea to part, creating a path through it. Prophet Musa and his followers crossed safely, while Pharaoh and his army were drowned.
This remarkable event teaches us that when every apparent door seems closed, Allah is fully capable of creating a way where none appears to exist.
The Faith of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham)
The life of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) is another shining example of Tawakkul.
When he was cast into the fire, every worldly hope had vanished, yet his heart remained completely at peace through his trust in Allah. It is authentically reported that he said:
«"Hasbiyallahu wa ni'mal-Wakeel."
"Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the Best Disposer of all affairs."»
Then Allah commanded the fire:
«"O fire, be coolness and safety for Ibrahim."
(Quran, Surah Al-Anbiya 21:69)»
Such is the power of Tawakkul. When a servant places complete trust in Allah, He grants help from places and in ways beyond human imagination.
"Hasbunallahu wa Ni'mal-Wakeel"
This is far more than a simple phrase—it is the heartfelt declaration of a believer.
When a person feels surrounded by hardship, when resources are scarce, when people abandon them, and when the future appears uncertain, saying:
«"Hasbunallahu wa Ni'mal-Wakeel"
"Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of all affairs."»
is a declaration that their ultimate reliance is upon Allah alone. He is sufficient for them, and He alone is the finest Guardian and Trustee of all affairs.
A person who lives with this certainty is never broken by life's changing circumstances, because their hope is not attached to people or worldly means—it is firmly anchored in their Lord.
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
توکل — اللہ تعالیٰ پر کامل بھروسہ
حصہ سوم (اختتامی حصہ)
زندگی میں ایسے بے شمار مواقع آتے ہیں جب انسان خود کو بے بس محسوس کرتا ہے۔ کبھی حالات اس کے اختیار سے باہر ہو جاتے ہیں، کبھی دعائیں دیر سے قبول ہوتی محسوس ہوتی ہیں، اور کبھی ہر طرف اندھیرا ہی اندھیرا دکھائی دیتا ہے۔ ایسے وقت میں اگر انسان کا تعلق اللہ تعالیٰ سے مضبوط ہو، تو وہ ٹوٹتا نہیں بلکہ پہلے سے زیادہ مضبوط ہو جاتا ہے۔ یہی توکل کا سب سے بڑا اثر ہے۔
حقیقی توکل انسان کے دل سے خوف، بے چینی اور مایوسی کو ختم کر دیتا ہے۔ کیونکہ وہ جانتا ہے کہ جو رب پوری کائنات کا نظام چلا رہا ہے، وہ میرے معاملات سنبھالنے پر بھی پوری قدرت رکھتا ہے۔ جب بندہ اپنے معاملات اللہ تعالیٰ کے سپرد کر دیتا ہے تو اس کے دل میں ایک عجیب سا سکون پیدا ہوتا ہے، ایسا سکون جو نہ دولت دے سکتی ہے، نہ شہرت اور نہ ہی دنیا کی کوئی طاقت۔
اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں:
﴿أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ﴾
"یاد رکھو! دلوں کا اطمینان صرف اللہ کے ذکر سے حاصل ہوتا ہے۔" (سورۃ الرعد: 28)
یہ آیت اس حقیقت کو بیان کرتی ہے کہ سکون کسی انسان، کسی چیز یا کسی مقام میں نہیں، بلکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی یاد اور اس پر کامل بھروسے میں ہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندے کو کبھی تنہا نہیں چھوڑتا
بعض اوقات انسان اپنی دعاؤں کی قبولیت میں تاخیر دیکھ کر پریشان ہو جاتا ہے۔ وہ سوچتا ہے کہ شاید اللہ تعالیٰ نے اسے بھلا دیا ہے، لیکن ایک مومن جانتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کبھی اپنے بندے کو نہیں بھولتا۔
کبھی اللہ تعالیٰ فوراً عطا فرما دیتا ہے، کبھی بہتر وقت کے لیے محفوظ رکھتا ہے، اور کبھی اس کے بدلے کوئی آنے والی مصیبت ٹال دیتا ہے۔ اس لیے مومن کا کام صرف دعا، کوشش اور توکل کرنا ہے، جبکہ فیصلہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی حکمت پر چھوڑ دینا ہے۔
قرآن مجید میں اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں:
﴿وَعَسَىٰ أَن تَكْرَهُوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ﴾
"ممکن ہے تم کسی چیز کو ناپسند کرو، حالانکہ وہی تمہارے لیے بہتر ہو۔" (سورۃ البقرہ: 216)
یہ آیت ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ ہر فیصلہ ہماری خواہش کے مطابق ہونا ضروری نہیں، بلکہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہماری ضرورت کو ہم سے بہتر جانتا ہے۔
ایک مومن کی پہچان
ایک سچا مسلمان وہ نہیں جو صرف آسانیوں میں اللہ تعالیٰ کو یاد کرے، بلکہ وہ ہے جو مشکلات میں بھی اپنے رب سے امید وابستہ رکھے۔
اگر رزق کم ہو تو محنت کے ساتھ دعا کرے۔
اگر بیماری آئے تو علاج بھی کرے اور شفا اللہ تعالیٰ سے مانگے۔
اگر امتحان ہو تو پوری تیاری کرے اور کامیابی اللہ تعالیٰ سے طلب کرے۔
اگر کاروبار میں نقصان ہو تو دوبارہ محنت کرے، لیکن کبھی حرام راستہ اختیار نہ کرے۔
یہی حقیقی توکل ہے۔
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
"اگر تم اللہ پر ایسا توکل کرو جیسا توکل کرنے کا حق ہے تو اللہ تمہیں اسی طرح رزق دے گا جیسے پرندوں کو دیتا ہے۔ وہ صبح خالی پیٹ نکلتے ہیں اور شام کو پیٹ بھر کر واپس آتے ہیں۔" (جامع ترمذی)
غور کیجیے، پرندے اپنے گھونسلوں میں بیٹھے نہیں رہتے بلکہ رزق کی تلاش میں نکلتے ہیں۔ وہ کوشش بھی کرتے ہیں اور بھروسہ بھی اللہ تعالیٰ پر رکھتے ہیں۔ یہی وہ سبق ہے جو ہر مسلمان کو اپنی زندگی میں اپنانا چاہیے۔
توکل کے ثمرات
جو شخص اللہ تعالیٰ پر توکل کرتا ہے، اس کی زندگی میں بے شمار برکتیں پیدا ہوتی ہیں۔
اس کا دل مطمئن رہتا ہے۔
وہ مستقبل کے خوف سے آزاد ہو جاتا ہے۔
مشکلات میں بھی امید کا دامن نہیں چھوڑتا۔
لوگوں کے بجائے اللہ تعالیٰ سے توقع رکھتا ہے۔
ہر کامیابی پر شکر ادا کرتا ہے اور ہر آزمائش میں صبر اختیار کرتا ہے۔
وہ جان لیتا ہے کہ دنیا کی ہر چیز عارضی ہے، لیکن اللہ تعالیٰ کی مدد ہمیشہ باقی رہتی ہے۔
ایسا انسان حالات کا غلام نہیں بنتا بلکہ اپنے رب کا بندہ بن کر جیتا ہے۔
اختتامیہ
توکل صرف ایک اسلامی اصطلاح نہیں بلکہ ایک ایسا طرزِ زندگی ہے جو انسان کو دنیا اور آخرت دونوں میں کامیاب بناتا ہے۔ جب بندہ اپنی پوری کوشش کرنے کے بعد ہر معاملہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سپرد کر دیتا ہے تو اس کا دل سکون پا لیتا ہے، اس کا ایمان مضبوط ہو جاتا ہے اور وہ جان لیتا ہے کہ اس کے رب کا ہر فیصلہ اس کے حق میں بہتر ہے۔
اگر آج آپ زندگی کی کسی آزمائش، پریشانی، بیماری، بے روزگاری، مالی تنگی یا کسی اور مشکل سے گزر رہے ہیں تو مایوس نہ ہوں۔ اپنے رب سے تعلق مضبوط کیجیے، دعا کیجیے، جائز اسباب اختیار کیجیے، اور پھر مکمل یقین کے ساتھ اللہ تعالیٰ پر بھروسہ رکھیے۔
یاد رکھیں!
جس بندے کا سہارا اللہ تعالیٰ بن جائے، دنیا کی کوئی طاقت اسے شکست نہیں دے سکتی۔
اپنے ہر دن کا آغاز اس یقین کے ساتھ کریں کہ:
"حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ"
"اللہ ہمارے لیے کافی ہے، اور وہی بہترین کارساز ہے۔"
اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیں سچا توکل کرنے والا، اپنے فیصلوں پر راضی رہنے والا، اور ہر حال میں اسی پر بھروسہ کرنے والا بندہ بنا دے۔

Part Three (Conclusion)
Life presents countless moments when a person feels completely helpless. At times, circumstances slip beyond one's control. At other times, prayers seem delayed in being answered, and sometimes every direction appears shrouded in darkness. Yet when a person's connection with Allah Almighty is strong, they do not break under hardship—they emerge stronger than before. This is one of the greatest fruits of Tawakkul.
True Tawakkul removes fear, anxiety, and despair from the heart because the believer knows that the Lord who governs the entire universe is fully capable of taking care of every detail of their life. When a servant entrusts all their affairs to Allah, an extraordinary peace settles within the heart—a peace that neither wealth, fame, nor any worldly power can ever provide.
Allah Almighty says in the Qur'an:
«"Surely, it is in the remembrance of Allah that hearts find rest."
(Quran, Surah Ar-Ra'd 13:28)»
This verse teaches us a profound truth: real peace is not found in people, possessions, or places, but in remembering Allah and placing complete trust in Him.
Allah Never Abandons His Servants
Sometimes a person becomes distressed when they feel that their prayers are taking a long time to be answered. They may begin to wonder whether Allah has forgotten them. But a believer knows with certainty that Allah never forgets His servants.
Sometimes Allah grants what we ask immediately. Sometimes He delays it until the best possible time. At other times, He replaces it with something even better or protects us from an unseen hardship in return. Therefore, the responsibility of a believer is to pray, strive, and place their trust in Allah, while leaving the final decision to His perfect wisdom.
Allah Almighty says:
«"Perhaps you dislike something while it is good for you."
(Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah 2:216)»
This verse reminds us that not every outcome must align with our desires, for Allah knows our true needs far better than we do.
The Mark of a True Believer
A sincere Muslim is not someone who remembers Allah only during times of ease. Rather, they continue to place their hope in Him even during hardship.
If their provision becomes limited, they work hard while making sincere supplication.
If illness strikes, they seek medical treatment while asking Allah for healing.
If they face an examination, they prepare diligently while seeking success from Allah.
If they suffer a business loss, they work again with determination, but never resort to unlawful means.
This is the essence of true Tawakkul.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
«"If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He deserves, He would provide for you just as He provides for the birds. They leave their nests hungry in the morning and return with full stomachs in the evening."
(Narrated in Jami' at-Tirmidhi)»
Reflect upon this beautiful example. Birds do not remain in their nests waiting for food to come to them. They go out in search of their sustenance, making every effort while placing their complete trust in Allah. This is the lesson every Muslim should embody in daily life.
The Fruits of Tawakkul
The one who places complete trust in Allah experiences countless blessings.
- Their heart remains at peace.
- They are freed from constant fear of the future.
- They never lose hope, even in times of hardship.
- Their expectations are directed toward Allah rather than people.
- They express gratitude in times of success and remain patient during trials.
- They realize that everything in this world is temporary, while the help of Allah is everlasting.
Such a person is not a servant of changing circumstances but a devoted servant of their Lord.
Conclusion
Tawakkul is not merely an Islamic term—it is a way of life that leads to success in both this world and the Hereafter. When a believer exerts every lawful effort and then entrusts every matter to Allah, the heart finds tranquility, faith grows stronger, and the believer comes to realize that every decree of Allah is ultimately for their own good.
If you are currently facing a trial, hardship, illness, unemployment, financial difficulty, or any other challenge, do not despair. Strengthen your relationship with your Lord. Turn to Him in sincere supplication. Adopt every lawful means available, and then place your complete trust in Allah with unwavering certainty.
Always remember:
The person whose support is Allah can never truly be defeated by any power in this world.
Begin each day with this conviction in your heart:
«"Hasbunallahu wa Ni'mal-Wakeel."
"Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of all affairs."»
May Allah Almighty make us among those who truly place their trust in Him, who are content with His decrees, and who rely upon Him in every circumstance.
